Never ever play Ultimate Frisbee barefoot on turf on a hot field. Not because you'll get hot feet, but because it will tear the fuck out of your feet. I have a blister that's probably six square inches on the bottom of my left foot from pivoting or turning or slowing down or something. I can't even walk now.
